Back and better than ever. The CLAAS Harvest Horizons event is more than a showcase of the latest agricultural machinery and technology. It’s the ultimate CLAAS customer experience. It’s an exclusive agricultural business conference designed for you — the grower — to equip you with future-proof business strategies for your operation and explore the lengths CLAAS goes to help you be the best in your field.
Get ready to join us on campus for interactive learning sessions, invaluable networking opportunities, equipment demos, factory tours and more!
We’ll address the challenges and opportunities of modern farming and explore important ag-business topics like risk management and profitability, running your farm like a business, precision agriculture and optimizing your equipment for efficiency.
Discuss the practical and technical aspects of farming. Get the low-down on CLAAS equipment use and services. Go behind the scenes with special plant and service bay tours.
Discover firsthand the unique CLAAS machinery capabilities when you get behind the wheel of CLAAS equipment including combines and tractors.
Meet with industry experts, CLAAS leadership, and fellow producers to get questions answered and build your network. Gather between sessions and each evening to continue conversations and enjoy a variety of planned social events.
Harvest Horizons will be held in Omaha, Nebraska, home of the CLAAS North America Headquarters. This is where you can find both the CLAAS of America sales company and CLAAS Omaha, Inc., our state-of-the-art American assembly plant. From the farm all the way to the anchor desk, RFD’s Mike Pearson has had quite the journey.
Born in South Central Iowa, Mike grew to love agriculture on his family’s hog and cattle operation. After graduating from Simpson College, he moved to Grinnell, Iowa, where he had the chance to build his own cow herd in addition to working as an agricultural lender.
Over the next 10 years, Mike left the world of finance and entered the world of media. He previously hosted “Market to Market” on Public Television as well as the Ag News Daily podcast; currently, viewers can find him hosting “This Week in Agribusiness” on RFD-TV.
Rob Sharkey is not your average 5th generation Illinois grain farmer.
Better known as the SharkFarmer, he’s a risk-taker and out-of-the-box thinker who believes everyone has a story to tell. With his authentic interview style, ability to tackle controversial issues and willingness to share the triumphs and struggles of the modern farmer and business owner, he’s brought out the unfiltered truth in those stories — and audiences have noticed.
Appearing on Sirius XM, PBS, Acres TV and RFDTV’s SharkFarmer TV (11 seasons and counting!), Rob and his work have resonated with some 2.9 million weekly listeners around the world.
